Four interrelated water quality rule packages are out for interested party review (IPR). Following this initial public review and comment, Ohio EPA expects to craft and move forward on smaller rule packages comprised of selected rules and topics. Completing the IPR will afford the Agency the opportunity to consider the comments from affected parties and the public when assessing and prioritizing the content of future rulemakings.
The fact sheets below summarize the overall scope and likely effects of all four rule packages. A detailed fact sheet, specific to each rule package, is on the web page for that rule package. Use the links in the box above to go to web pages for the four interrelated rule packages. Interested party input on selected topics will be particularly valuable. Please consider using the fact sheet Highlighted Issues as a guideline to formulate your comments.
