Miami University Receives Help from Ohio EPA to Improve the Environment
Miami University’s Hefner Museum of Natural History will train 32 early childhood education majors as environmental educators, stressing content knowledge and effective training. Participants will become Certified Early Childhood Environmental Educators and will receive a kit of materials and resources to use in their classrooms.

During a facility tour, Enginetics staff showed how the company strives to minimize its environmental impact while producing state-of-the-art engine components for the aerospace industry.

Ohio EPA Director Craig W. Butler recognized Pioneer Automotive Technologies today for its ongoing efforts in environmental stewardship. Director Butler personally saw how the company’s Springboro facility is decreasing its environmental footprint while continuing to be one of the industry’s top producers of automotive electronics systems.

An interactive exhibit and support of a speaker’s bureau will help the Cincinnati Nature Center get out the message: Bring Back the Monarchs! The group is supporting Monarch Joint Venture, a national organization that along with others of its kind is helping identify best practices to support monarch butterfly habitat.
