Ohio, Michigan, Federal Environmental Officials to Discuss Western Basin Lake Erie Issues
Public Question and Answer Session April 4, 2012, 1-2:30 p.m.
COLUMBUS — Ohio EPA Director Scott J. Nally will host a question and answer session for the public regarding water quality issues confronting the Western Basin of Lake Erie. The Ohio Departments of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the Michigan Departments of Environmental Quality and Natural Resources, and U.S. EPA will join Director Nally for this meeting.
Lake Erie’s Western Basin, which encompasses the Detroit, Toledo and Sandusky regions, is the most sensitive, ecologically diverse and productive region of all the Great Lakes.
