Ohio EPA Taking Comments on Exemption to State Greenhouse Gas Tailoring Rules
Ohio EPA is proposing to allow an exemption to Ohio’s greenhouse gas tailoring rules for facilities that use biomass as fuel in order to mirror the federal rule.
A public hearing to accept comments on the proposed rule changes is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the 6th Floor Conference Center, Room 6B at Ohio EPA, Lazarus Government Center, 50 West Town Street, Suite 700, Columbus. The public hearing will end when everyone has had an opportunity to testify. Visitors to the building must provide a photo I.D.
Written comments may be mailed or emailed to Mike Ahern, Division of Air Pollution Control, P.O. Box 1049, Columbus, Ohio 43216-1049. Written comments also may also be submitted to the hearing officer at the public hearing. All testimony received by the close of business on Feb. 8, 2012, will be considered by Ohio EPA in developing changes to the final rule.
