Ohio Environmental Protection Agency 2011 Compliance Assistance Conference

Ohio EPA is hosting our sixth Compliance Assistance Conference in November, with an improved and expanded agenda.  We know how challenging it is to keep on top of the environmental regulations.  Through our conference, you will gain valuable information and contacts to help you with your environmental compliance responsibilities, now and in the future.  Past attendees have provided us with very positive feedback about the conference and we've listened to them in putting together this year's agenda.

A large part of the conference remains targeted to businesses and others who need to know the basics about environmental compliance.  However, we've also expanded the agenda to include more advanced topics, such as New Source Review (NSR), Title V permits and reporting.

CONFERENCE AGENDA AT A GLANCE

The two-day conference will cover a variety of environmental compliance-related topics and provide you with the most current regulatory information and an opportunity to ask questions of Ohio EPA’s technical experts. Topics include:

  • EPCRA, TRI and RMP Reporting

  • Air Permitting Basics and Reporting

  • Preparing for an Ohio EPA Inspection

  • Hazardous Waste Requirements Overview

  • Used Oil and SPCC Requirements

  • Reporting When Things Go Wrong

  • Solid Waste Basics

  • NPDES Permits and new Electronic (e-DMR) Reporting

  • New Source Review (NSR) and Title V Permitting

  • Ohio EPA's New Expedited Enforcement Policy

  • Storm Water and Wetland Requirements for Construction . . . and more!

If you have a question or need help with a specific reporting form or permit application, we will also have staff available during an “Ask the Experts” session during day two of the conference.
