STATE IMPLEMENTATION PLANS (SIP) - Infrastructure
Section 110(a) of the Clean Air Act (CAA) requires States to submit an implementation plan to the U.S. EPA Administrator that provides for implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. Section 110(a)(2) lists the elements that are to comprise the implementation plan. Several of the elements in Section 110(a)(2) specifically address the need for states to demonstrate the ability to implement, maintain, and enforce the air quality standards. The infrastructure SIP details Ohio EPA’s ability to fulfill the requirements of Section 110(a).
