The Ohio Brownfield Conference will be held on April 9-10, 2014. This conference attracts attendees from a number of different disciplines such as environmental consultants; economic development, brownfield and other municipal officials; state government officials; developers; environmental attorneys; and cleanup contractors. The level of brownfield knowledge ranges from beginner to advanced and the presentations need to range from highly technical to more general information. We welcome your interest in submitting a presentation for this upcoming conference.
Submittals for the Call for Presentations has ended.
If you submitted a presentation, you will be notified no later than mid January 2014 if your presentation will be part of the conference agenda. If your presentation is selected, you will be expected to email us your PowerPoint (or other presentation materials) no later than March 21, 2014. Failure to provide your presentation materials by March 21 will result in the presentation being removed from the agenda.
As much as we would like to compensate all presenters for their efforts in helping us make this conference a success, we are unable to provide either free registration or any fees for your presentation. This is due to the strict ethical guidelines we must adhere to as an Agency representing the State of Ohio. Presenters will be able to register for the conference at the reduced government rate.
PDHU Notice for VAP Certified Professionals submitting presentations: if your presentation is accepted and you present at the conference, you will be awarded 8 PDHUs for your presentation and preparation efforts.
