Ohio EPA Safety and Health Program

Mission Statement

To ensure that a dynamic, comprehensive program is in place to protect the health and safety of all Ohio EPA employees while working in any of the Agency's facilities or during the performance of field activities.

The Agency’s Office of Labor and Safety is located in the Director’s Office and is staffed by Safety and Health Coordinator John Vlasko and Safety Administrator Beth Wolf. We are available to all Agency staff and management for consultation and guidance on any occupational safety and health issue that may arise.

Ohio EPA is committed to providing each of its employees a safe and healthy work environment, free from any recognized hazards. The following policies serve as the foundation of the Agency's comprehensive occupational safety and health program.
