Quarterly Non-Compliance Reports

Quarterly Non-Compliance Reports are prepared each quarter by all delegated states and contain instances of non-compliance, State or Federal enforcement responses to the instance of non-compliance, other actions being taken to address the violations, and current compliance status for major dischargers.

• The QNCR is developed from the Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS) NPDES:

  • The Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS) NPDES is the national database used to track compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit requirements.

The Quarterly Non-Compliance Reports can also be obtained from USEPA Region 5. Reports are organized by State within each calendar quarter. They may be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate hyper-text reference for a State. The files are ascii text and range in size from 43,000 to 410,000 bytes.
