General Information

The Northwest District Office has six divisions within the district office: Air Pollution Control, Surface Water, Drinking and Ground Waters, Materials and Waste Management, Emergency Response and Revitalization, and District Operations. District personnel review permit applications; evaluate sites for proposed facilities; investigate complaints; inspect air, hazardous waste, solid waste, drinking water and water pollution control facilities; identify environmental violations and prepare recommendations for enforcement; oversee the cleanup of abandoned hazardous waste sites; provide technical assistance to municipalities and industry; assess air and water quality conditions; manage the Agency's pollution control programs at the local level and various contacts with the public. Our district office looks forward to speaking with organizations about environmental subjects. Speakers can be arranged by contacting the district office.

OFFICE HOURS

The general hours of Ohio EPA are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, our employees often work different hours. Many do "field work" and are, therefore, not always in the office. From the North: From I-75 South, take Exit 181. Turn left. At the first intersection, turn left onto Dunbridge Road. The EPA office is located on the left at the intersection of Research Drive.

From the South: From I-75 North, take Exit 181. Turn right. At the first intersection, turn left on to Dunbridge Road. The EPA office is located on the left at the intersection of Research Drive.

From the East: From the Ohio Turnpike, take Exit 4A. Follow I-75 South to Exit 181. Turn left. At the first intersection, turn left onto Dunbridge Road. The EPA office is located on the left at the intersection of Research Drive. OR take Route 6 West to County Home Road (just before the I-75 underpass). Turn right. County Home Road becomes Dunbridge Road. After you cross Wooster Street, the EPA office is on the left at the intersection of Research Drive.

From the West: From the Ohio Turnpike, take Exit 4A. Follow I-75 South to Exit 181. Turn left. At the first intersection, turn left onto Dunbridge Road.
