Response to Comments
As a courtesy to interested parties who have commented on Ohio EPA actions or during public hearings, Ohio EPA often prepares a response to comments document. Information contained in the document includes applicable questions posed orally or in writing during the public comment period along with a response from the Agency. The summary is generally released when a decision is made on a permit or issue that has generated significant public interest.
In order to help reduce costs and speed the dissemination of information to interested parties, the Public Interest Center is now posting copies of some response summaries on the Web. Interested parties will be notified through a citizen advisory when the summaries are posted. Hard copies will still be mailed if requested.
If you would like to be placed on the mailing list to receive notification of public meetings, Agency actions or sites of interest, please contact the citizen or media contacts listed in the table below by e-mail or phone at (614) 644-2160.
If you have an interest in learning more about a site, facility or action which is not listed below, please contact the appropriate Public Involvement or Media Relations Coordinator based on the county where the facility or site is located. For general questions not related to a particular county or facility, contact the appropriate section manager.
