September 26, 2018 Ohio EPA Issues Permit for Greene County Biosolids Treatment Facility
Ohio EPA issued a final permit-to-install today to Dovetail Energy LLC to improve its biosolids treatment facility in Greene County. The permit allows the company to add two new plug flow heat tanks that are 2,000 gallons each and a new 230,000-gallon feedstock tank at its 1156 Herr Road, Fairborn facility.
September 21, 2018 Ohio EPA Issues Permit for Wayne County Biosolids Storage Pond
Ohio EPA issued a final permit-to-install today for the Wiles Storage Pond. The permit allows Buckeye Biogas, LLC, to build a 9.2-million-gallon storage pond in Canaan Township to store anaerobically digested biosolids from the company’s Wooster facility.

August 17, 2018 Ohio EPA Grant to Assist Winona Residents with Drinking Water Wells; Community Water System Slated for Decommission
Ohio EPA is giving a $220,000 grant to the Columbiana County Health District to assist homeowners in Winona with the installation of private wells. The community’s water system, which has had ongoing, expensive maintenance issues, will permanently cease operations later this year.
