Ohio Lake Erie Commission to Hold Quarterly Meeting
Virtual Meeting Scheduled March 10
The Ohio Lake Erie Commission (OLEC) will hold its next quarterly meeting Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 10 a.m.
Individuals participating may submit comments during the public comment portion of the meeting. There also will be a phone line available for participants to have the option to speak during the public comment period. To attend this online meeting, participants will need to register in advance.
The Commission will hear updates on Lake Erie maritime activities and provide other Lake Erie Program updates.
All Commission meetings are open to the public and include a public comment period.
OLEC was established to preserve Lake Erie's natural resources, to protect the quality of its waters and ecosystem, and to promote economic development in the region. The director of Ohio Environmental Protection Agency serves as the commission's chairman. Additional members include the directors of the state departments of Transportation, Health, Development Services, Agriculture, Natural Resources, and five additional members of the public appointed by the governor.
